The Ascent of Ben
It feels like it's been forever since Ben Folds has captured any headlines. Aside from a memorable Bonnaroo performance last month, this guy's laid low for the past couple of years. That is, until now. Folds was recently interviewed by Paste, where he spilled his guts about his new album. His first record since 2005's Songs For Silverman will be called Way To Normal and will be released on September 16th on Epic. Some of the album's cuts were previewed at Bonnaroo, including "Free Coffee" and "Hiroshima," but the most anticipated track is a duet with Regina Spektor called "You Don't Know Me." Do I smell piano battle?
