So much for that Wolfmother follow-up. According to numerous sources, the Australian band has split up after only one release. Bassist Chris Ross was the first to go, citing the cliched irreconcilable artistic differences. Soon after that, drummer Myles Haskett followed suit, unwilling to soldier on with a changed lineup. This leaves only singer/guitarist Andrew Stockdale. The good news is that he is keeping the name alive, and has vowed to recruit new musicians to fill his former band members' departures. Wolfmother's first album got a nice push from the use of "Love Train" in iPod tv spots, and even went on on to go gold in the States. Bummer.
